Silently Danny walked toward the lake. He was quite sure that Emma had returned to the school after attending her grandmother's funeral, and he intended to be there to make her feel better. Danny felt that it was important for him to be there to comfort a grieving friend. Besides, if Danny had experienced the loss of his grandmother, then he would also like for someone to comfort and console him.
But how would he go about it? Danny couldn't think of a good way make Emma feel comforted. 'Maybe she'll just be glad to see me...' he thought to himself as he kicked a small pebble into the lake water. He stood behind a tree and waited for his 'victim' to arrive.
Earlier Danny had left a note in the common area for Emma to go to the lake. He left it unsigned, which he knew added mystery to it. That was something that he was sure that Emma couldn't pass up. Surely Emma would be filled with curiosity as she usually was. The note said simply, 'A surprise awaits you at the lake's shore...' Danny had never been much of a writer. Strange thing that he aspired to be one.
Time was ticking down. It was already mid-day, and the sun was hardly shining through the thick clouds above. The wind had picked up slightly to where the blades of grass had begun to shift in the breeze. At least the clouds did not threaten rain. That would have turned out to be a terrible end to what he wanted to turn out to be a wonderful evening.
'Where is Emma?' Danny thought to himself as he nudged some dirt with his shoe. Good thing he was out of sight. He would hate to ruin the surprise. It was every bit of his intention to jump from behind the tree and give her a good scare. If she had the hick-ups he would be doing her a good service. A grin appeared on his lips as he thought about it.

In the whirlwind of the past few weeks, Emma was glad to finally be back home, home being SWIM. The occasion itself for going home had been depressing enough, but actually being trapped at her house with not just her parents, but with her family was unbearable. Aunts and Uncles seemed to pop out of the woodwork with all the spoiled brats they could produce. As luck would cast it, she had been the oldest child there who could be bothered to look after the brood. Her elder cousins were simply too preoccupied with each other to be finagled into the job. Amelia was Emma's grandmother too, but apparently no one had realized that. And once the question of her uncle's nephew's boarding school had been brought up, that had been enough of that. Fortunately she was able to persuade her parents to let her finish the year, if not finish her education over all at SWIM.
It was so odd, going home and coming back without her grandmother. Amelia had been the only one who cared, and now the only person outside SWIM that Emma could share with was gone. The halls didn't seem the same anymore, nor even her room. Yes, it was still blessedly hers, but that was all. She would take it with her when she left, but to everyone else it would be just a dorm room, nothing else. After a few hours' sulk, Emma rationalized with herself enough to put her feet on the floor. A moment later, she was dressed, and after she rinsed off her face, Emma felt a drastic difference. She wanted to be outside, but she didn't want anyone's company. Fortunately Zan hadn't been an issue, but Emma didn't quite want to run into her friends either. As quietly as possible, Emma crept down the hallways towards the commons room, only stopping when a large note with her name caught her eye.
So there was a surprise waiting for her at the lake, eh? The unsigned name only made her think of one person who would want to see her alone, and would surprise her: Zeek. Although the thought of him made her feel the tiniest bit better, she still wasn't sure if she were up to it. Emma wasn't sure if he would even understand what she was going through. But it would be rude to ignore him, and she had been heading towards the lake anyways. Besides, it was probably best to not be alone.
As she walked outside, Emma was glad for the sweater she chose as a brief gust of wind reminded her she still had her senses. It was only a short jaunt to the lake, but she already felt better from feeling the chill breeze. It was good to be back at SWIM, she had missed it so much. Touching an old pine as she passed by, Emma found she had missed the environment much more than the institution itself. The sun was already sparkling upon the lake waters, bringing an irresistible smile to her lips.

Danny felt as if he were stuffed inside a giant birthday cake, and he was waiting in anticipation for the right moment to pop out and surprise the intended person. The ever so obvious sound of a hand brushing across the bark of the tree nearly triggered his reaction, but he waited still. He scooted further around the tree and peeked around to see Emma standing at the edge of the water. Danny couldn't see her face, but he had to tempt the fates.
It was dangerous to mess with a contemplative woman. Danny knew that because he knew the story that his mother had told him years ago about the mood changes of a woman. Why there will always be one week of the month were she really just didn't want him to talk too much. Could Emma be experiencing the same thing? Danny knew that he had to risk it. If it was that time of the month then Danny would have to suffer the unbearable consequences. It made him thankful that he was indeed a male.
Judging by her silence, he was quite sure that she didn't know he as there. Danny crept around the tree and eased his way toward her with a smile. He stopped a considerable distance behind her and leaned forward. "BOO!" Danny said loudly, as close to her ear as he felt comfortable with.
There. He had done it. Danny could only wait to see her reaction, and possibly find out if he would ever be able to speak again.

The only sound at the lake was a pair of birds chattering away. She'd have to find out later what kind they were, but judging from their less-than colorful plumage they were common in the region. Regardless of their perceived value, their sounds cheered Emma up considerably. It was to be a happy day when she returned to SWIM, not one swamped in grief. She was already slipping off her shoes, prying her foot out of the left shoe with her right. Wading would be a nice diversion, especially until whoever had asked her to the lake came. If it were Zeek, it wasn't like him to be late. Usually he seemed--
"BOO!"
"GOD BLAST IT!" Emma shrieked in a piercing scream as she jumped from the sudden sound. Whirling around instantly, Emma wasn't surprised to see her friend. "God, Danny!" She yelled at him, the beginnings of tears at her eyes. Her hand instantly shot up to slap his shoulder, quivering as she slapped it down towards him. By the gods he had shaken her up, and in the worst way possible. He knew she absolutely hated to be scared in that way, everyone did, but it didn't stop them from taking advantage of any opportunity. "What are you doing here?" she asked in a half-shout, still shaken up from the scare. It would take a second or two for her to stop quivering, and to stop being paranoid that he would do it again.

"GOD BLAST IT!"
Holy crap! Danny feared that he had opened the biggest can of worms ever. In his want to console his friend, he had managed to forget that she hated to be scared from behind. She had scared him almost as much as he had scared her. Danny took a couple of steps back in order to give some distance between himself and the paranoid woman in front of him.
"What are you doing here?"
Danny winced as her hand connected with his shoulder. He instinctively looked down, and noted that the area of his arm that she had hit would probably be bright red later on. Still slightly in pain from her slap, he managed to look up, "Uh... surprise?" he mused with a half smile.
Suddenly Danny wondered if Emma had ever had someone jump out of a cake at a birthday party. He came to the conclusion that it was unlikely. It was only a weekday and Danny had gotten slapped really hard. Danny figured the second someone jumped out of a cake Emma would be the first to grab a gun and shoot them in the face.
"Sorry for the scare, Emma." Danny said as she shook his arm of the remaining sting of her slap. "I forgot that you didn't like it." His lower lip drooped low into the puppy dog frown, "Could you ever forgive me?"

"Uh... surprise?"
"Hi, Danny...," Emma replied smiling back at him. She couldn't stay mad at him. Besides, from the way he looked she had probably been a bit too enthusiastic with her retaliation. Besides, she knew he hadn't meant anything bad by it. It only served to remind her that she was glad for her friends, and shouldn't go about avoiding them. They were her friends for a reason.
"Sorry for the scare, Emma. I forgot that you didn't like it. Could you ever forgive me?"
Eyeing his puppy-dog frown, Emma gave him a skeptical look. "Well, I don't know Danny..." she teased before giving him a small smile. "Of course I forgive you. You just spooked me, that's all. Sorry 'bout that," she added, nodding her head towards his shoulder. In a sense she was a bit proud of it; too many people didn't expect girls to hit hard, but that didn't mean they couldn't.
Bending down to sit on the shore, Emma removed her other shoe, her task having been interrupted by Danny's sudden arrival. "So how are you doing? Anything exciting happen while I was gone?" she asked curiously, slipping back into her old Emma mood. All too often she was seen as an older figure for advice and comfort, a rock in a sense. She wasn't about to unload everything on an unsuspecting friend. She was strong, she could handle it, and surely there were worse things that could happen. Patting the ground beside her, Emma looked up to invite him to sit. She was glad to see him, but she was still a bit tired from everything that had happened.

"Of course I forgive you. You just spooked me, that's all. Sorry 'bout that,"
Whew. That was a close one. Danny smiled in relief that Emma wasn't angry at him for that little spook. He waved a hand to shove the topic off, "Don't worry about it." he paused with a laugh, "I don't think that it'll bruise." To tell the truth, Danny hadn't expected her to hit him. Yell at him, yes. Look at him with that unbearable angry look, of course! But hit him? That was something that Danny hadn't thought of.
"So how are you doing? Anything exciting happen while I was gone?"
Danny shook his head, "Not really. It's been unnaturally quiet around the castle since you left." he said with a berif wink to Emma before continuing. "As for myself... nothing really... the occasional note from mom, and as usual... nothing from dad. Everything is within the norm." he replied as he sat down next to her.
"Enough about me, I'm not interesting. Tell me about it, Em." Danny said as he looked forward, "No use in keeping anything inside." As Danny looked over to her he smiled. "You can talk about those things with me ya know."
Emma was someone that he thought he could confide in. Therefore Danny felt an equal need to be there for her. He hated thinking that he had unloaded all of his complaints and troubles on her, but he had never really done that for her. Danny wanted to be the confidant guy. He wanted his friends, expecially the friends that are girls, to be able to confide in him with no trouble.

"Not really. It's been unnaturally quiet around the castle since you left. As for myself... nothing really... the occasional note from mom, and as usual... nothing from dad. Everything is within the norm."
Looking over at him, Emma gave him a brief smile at the joke. Sure, without her loud voice echoing all over the school halls it had to be deadly silent. She couldn't imagine her presence or absence making any kind of distinguishable mark at the school, at least not an absence of a few weeks. As for Danny, she would miss him terribly, especially once they graduated. She never would have thought they would be such friends, but there they were. Surprisingly they had much in common, especially in the family department. Both of their home lives were nothing to be excited over. "Don't worry about them, Danny," Emma replied assuringly, giving him another smile, "You've got me."
"Enough about me, I'm not interesting. Tell me about it, Em. No use in keeping anything inside. You can talk about those things with me ya know."
Looking back out at the lake, Emma was quiet for a moment. "It's just," she started, looking back at him before returning her gaze to the lake, "I miss her. She was my only friend at home, and now she's gone." Biting her lip, Emma still found it hard to belief. Her grandmother had been present at her birth, and now Emma had present for her death. It was tragically ironic, and although Emma knew her grandmother would laugh at it, Emma just couldn't. Sure Amelia had been more formal, but she had fun with it at times. While her parents may have hated her, Emma was one of the few her grandmother was close with, and vice versa.
"It's hard knowing that when I go home, I won't have anyone to talk to. SWIM won't exist when I'm gone, at least not to anyone but me. It'll just be some school I went to; she was the only one who knew it was something more," Emma added, promising herself she wouldn't cry, not in front of Danny, not in front of anyone.

"Don't worry about them, Danny," Emma replied assuringly, giving him another smile, "You've got me."
That was very reassuring. Danny did have Emma there to talk to and he was very happy that he did. Or else he might end up strangling his dad one night. But that was beside the point. Emma was in need of emotional care and by George Danny would help her out with it!
"I miss her. She was my only friend at home, and now she's gone."
Danny knew what she meant. He really didn't have a friend at home either. His dad worked too much to care about him, his mother was usually distant because of the divorce, and his little brother was still too little to understand anything. Danny could easily guess how Emma was feeling. Thoug he knew it was different for Emma. Emma had someone there, but that person was taken away. She wasn't use to having no one, or so Danny figured. He tried to work up a comforting smile as he kept his ears open to what she was saying.
"It's hard knowing that when I go home, I won't have anyone to talk to. SWIM won't exist when I'm gone, at least not to anyone but me. It'll just be some school I went to; she was the only one who knew it was something more,"
"Understood." Danny said softly, "If it's anything like my parents... they don't know a thing about this school. I'm the only one in my family that can do any type of magic." he said. It wasn't as if his statement mattered, but he was trying to get at something. "Perhaps SWIM can exist when you go back home." he said. A thought crossed his mind in an instant.
"I've got it!" He exclaimed as he raised his right pointer finger in the air. "I will write to you every month during the summer. We'll give eachother a little peice of SWIM that we won't be able to get from our family." He grinned at her, "How 'bout it, Vale?" he paused, "I dare you." Even though the idea of him daring her to sounded very childish. He couldn't help himself. Danny still felt like a child at heart sometimes.

"Understood. If it's anything like my parents... they don't know a thing about this school. I'm the only one in my family that can do any type of magic."
Emma merely nodded at his words. They both had it rough, although in different ways. At least he knew what she meant, unlike a few others. But there was nothing they could do about it, not him, not her, not anyone. She wasn't even sure of her chances of escaping them family after graduation; while she had been confident a couple of years ago, the future was growing bleaker all the time.
"Perhaps SWIM can exist when you go back home. I've got it! I will write to you every month during the summer. We'll give eachother a little peice of SWIM that we won't be able to get from our family. How 'bout it, Vale? I dare you."
Emma was practically blinded by the little lightbulb blinking over his head. That was what she loved most about Danny, his enthusiasm was unwavering and irresistably contagious. Anything could happen with him. Emma couldn't resist a smile at his 'eureka' pointing finger, and although she was skeptical of the idea, she couldn't help but go along. Of course letters had proved disastrous in the past, almost ending her SWIM career that first summer. The more she thought about it though, the more appealing the idea became. Surely there was a spell that would let their letters pass undetected. Besides, she was older, and surely wouldn't make the same mistakes.
Of course, Emma could never turn down a dare, a good dare that was; she wasn't the type to go about flinging underpants on statues just to show some silly male ego. "Alright," she agreed, giving him an old grin, "You're on. A letter every month." To be honest, she was pleased by the idea. Maybe it would give her something to hold on, to ensure that her years here weren't a waste. She could only hope it would work. "Thanks, Danny," she added softly, glad that she had such wonderful friends. She truly was lucky in that arena.

"You're on. A letter every month."
Danny couldn't help but notice how easy it was to get Emma to agree with his idea. He leaned back on his hands as he looked at the lake and stretched out his legs. The raving skeptic couldn't help but agree with his idea. Sure it gave him a big head about things, but he wasn't one to complain. Maybe his idea would be as great as he suddenly thought it was.
There was a chance that it might not work. Danny wasn't sure how his mother or father would take him receiving letters from friends that were from school. Oh well. He knew that if he played his cards right then his parents would never have to know about it. 'Perfect' He thought with a smile. There were a number of excuses that popped into his head. Summer project, Senior plans, or some sort of other crazy idea.
"Thanks, Danny,"
Danny leaned on his left hand as he waved it off with his right. When he finally put his right hand back to regain his balance. "No problem. What's the use of being friends with a brilliant mind if ya can't take advantage of it?" he mused with a grin. "Say... how about a rousing game of truth or dare... just to take your mind off things."
His legs came up and crossed themselves so that he was sitting Indian style and his hands rested across his stomach. Danny couldn't help but suggest truth or dare. It wasn't often in their junior year that the two of them were able to pretend like they were children again. At least it sounded fun to Danny. He wasn't so sure that Emma would want to play, but he could always just smooth talk her into it.

"No problem. What's the use of being friends with a brilliant mind if ya can't take advantage of it? Say... how about a rousing game of truth or dare... just to take your mind off things."
"Very true," Emma laughed. While some male egos could be quite arrogant, Danny's was just a blast of fun. "Truth or dare? We haven't done that in ages," Emma teased, but he was actually right. She could use a game to take her mind off everything at the moment. Besides, it could be fun to have Danny cater to her every whim.
"Alright then," Emma spoke with an eager smile, the lake setting vanishing from her mind as she turned towards Danny, "Truth or Dare, Danny?" Oh yes, this could be quite fun. Besides, now that she thought of it, she hadn't been able to act like a kid in a long while. She didn't know how she'd manage without Danny; who else would she let her hair down with?
Sitting indian-style across from him, Emma looked around for any other possible victims, particularly females. Still, she didn't need an audience to hae fun with Danny, and if he chose truth, well, it would just make the truths all the more fun.

"Truth or Dare, Danny?"
Danny narrowed his eyes. "I know what game you play, Vale. Either way I end up extremely embarassed... but I'm a man!" he exclaimed as if it were some Revelation of some sort. "I choose..." he paused a moment, "daaaaare." he added dangerously. Danny anxiously awaited her dare. Surely Emma couldn't come up with anything too embarrassing.
Wait.
No. Danny knew what Emma was capable of. They had played the game once before their Freshman year and Danny had unfortunately ended up with his lips stuck a pole. The dare had been to kiss a girl on the cheek without getting slapped. As Danny had been going in for the kill, the girl moved, and he had accidentally hit the pole. Of course everyone that had been playing with them had a good laugh.
The good thing about Danny was that he wasn't afraid of being embarrassed at all. He managed to embarrass himself somehow every day so purposefully embarrassing himself in front of people was no problem. Typically Danny would just bounce back, unless he had his lips stuck to a pole.

"I know what game you play, Vale. Either way I end up extremely embarassed... but I'm a man!"
Emma couldn't help but laugh at his declaration. As if his manhood could do anything to save him once she was through with him. But it was good for him to declare his sex. Everyone needed to declare their sex at one point or another. He was such a good friend, too. Sometimes she had to remember that he was, indeed, male; it did make discussing the growing differences between their bodies a bit awkward.
"I choose...daaaaare."
"Alright then, Mister Manly Man," Emma teased, narrowing her own eyes in return. "I dare you...." she paused, attempting to think while her hand strayed to pluck some grass, "To shove this twig up your nose. As far up as humanly possible," she finished, triumphantly wielding a stout twig her hand had lingered on. It was about four inches long and two centimeters thick, with a rather stubby knob on one end. With an evil grin, she handed it to him, daring him with a look to refuse.

"Alright then, Mister Manly Man,"
Not good. That tone usually meant that she was going to show no remorse for what her dare would be. It was at that very moment that Danny realized his very large mistake. He knew that he would have been much safer if he had chosen truth. Lesson learned, truth would be his next choice.
"I dare you...."
Noooo. Not suspense! Danny hated when she paused like that in middle of telling him the dare. Couldn't she think of it before saying 'I dare you'? He raised an eyebrow and continued to look at her, waiting anxiously to see what his demise would be.
"To shove this twig up your nose. As far up as humanly possible,"
"Woah, woah, woah! I NEVER penetrate the nose. EVER." Danny said quickly as she handed him the twig. He narrowed his eyes, "I'm not a picker." he added as he looked down to the stick. Danny felt the twig to see if it had a rough surface. Lucky for him it was smooth. He drew in a deep breath and held the twig upright. "You know...you're probably the only person I would do this for."
Danny closed his eyes and raised the twig to his right nostril. Pain. He was expecting lots of pain. As Danny began to insert the twig he felt an itch inside his nose which made him want to sneeze for some reason. "There." He said once he had finished. "The things about to touch my brain." he said in a stuffy, nasal sounding voice.
No... Danny couldn't hold the sneeze in any longer. He took several short breaths, as many do for the pre sneeze, and he waited for it. All of a sudden his body seemed to calm down. The sneeze seemed to disappear. And then there was...
ACHOO!
The twig flew directly out of Danny's nose and into the air. It almost seemed as if the twig knew where it was going. The twig landed in the lake behind Emma, and left Danny to rub his sore nostril on the outside. "Ouch." he mumbled with a small smile. "Your turn, Vale. Truth or dare?" He asked, his voice still nasal because he was holding his nose.

"Woah, woah, woah! I NEVER penetrate the nose. EVER."
Emma couldn't resist an evil grin at his reaction. And just what did he penetrate was her question, but now wasn't the time for that discussion. But he had asked for a dare, and she had certainly given him one. Besides, he had spooked her. He should have expected retaliation; not that she had planned it that way, but she liked how it turned out.
"I'm not a picker."
"I didn't say you were," Emma retorted, "Now stop stalling. There's no stalling in truth or dare, or I'll have to call a foul on you." Giving him a single raised eyebrow, Emma knew that he knew that she wasn't kidding. In fact everyone knew that she knew that they knew she didn't kid.
"You know...you're probably the only person I would do this for."
Her vicious grin softened into a smile at his words. "I know. That's why I make you do it," she added, teasing him as she waited on him to just do it. If she didn't know Danny any better, she'd assume he really wasn't going to do it. She didn't blame him, Emma doubted she'd stick a twig up her nose for anyone. She wouldn't stick a twig up anywhere for anyone.
"There. The things about to touch my brain."
Emma couldn't help but clap her hands in delight. If only she could capture the moment in a photo, she would keep it. It would be wonderful for black-mail, too. There, sitting before her in all his glory, was Danny Dumont, with a twig shoved firmly up her nose. Ah, how she loved Truth or Dare.
"Oh good, so you do have one," Emma teased. It didn't look as painful as she would have thought until he started contrating to sneeze. "Ooh," she moaned, leaning back in recoil as the twig, among other things, sprayed forth from his nostrils.
"Good job, Danny," Emma congratulated him, giving him a more reassuring smile. "That was amazing. I think I might actually be impressed," she added, although she knew that might be a bit too much. But then, the boy had just shoved a twig up her nose for her; surely that deserved some praise.
"Ouch. Your turn, Vale. Truth or dare?"
She couldn't help but wince with him as he held his nose. And then it was her turn. While she didn't want to go into truth just yet, any dare she took would definetely be above hers. And that was frightening. Still, the other alternative was just not enough. Gathering her courage, and the knowledge that she could still beat Danny at his little game, Emma triumphantly spat out her answer, daring him to do his worst. "Dare."
"Ouch." he mumbled with a small smile. "Your turn, Vale. Truth or dare?"

Emma sounded so confident about picking dare. It seemed as if she thought he couldn't put up a fight against her dare techniques. Although Emma could probably pass as the most original at picking dares, Danny was able to come up with a few good dares of his own. It always seemed that Danny couldn't come up with his awesome dares until after the game though.
Danny thought hard abuot what he was going to dare Emma. He wanted it be something embarassing, yet not too awkward. Was there a dare that was not awkward? Danny didn't seem to think to, until it came to him. It was perfect. Something to give him a laugh, but at the same time, get her back.
"I want you to..." Danny paused adding in the same suspense that she had used to make him so anxious. "Do the macarena WHILE burping your name, after you burp your name... sing... the first verse Georgy Girl in a British accent." He said proudly. Danny crossed his arms over his chest as the pain in his nose had resided slightly.
In Danny's mind his dare was pure genious. Who else would have thought of a three part dare? None other than Mr. Twig himself. He would show her for thinking that he couldn't come up with a good dare. The dares that Danny usually came up with were generally more stupid than funny, but most of the time they would come out to be pretty funny.
A smile touched Danny's lips as he waited for Emma to do his bidding. She wouldn't dare to not do his dare. After all, Danny was just as brutal in truth or dare as Emma was, and he wouldn't be afraid to call a foul on Emma either. No matter. Danny was sure that she would do it. Of course Emma would be quick about it, but Danny knew that Emma couldn't pass up a challenege when presented with one.

"I want you to...Do the macarena WHILE burping your name, after you burp your name... sing... the first verse Georgy Girl in a British accent."
Alright, Emma was afraid. A slight widening in her eyes was all that betrayed it, but Emma would have to do it regardless. A three part dare was completely unfair, but if she raised any objections to it, Emma knew she'd be accused of chickening out. A dare was a dare was a dare, and although Danny was unfairly abusing the rules and her pride, there was nothing Emma could do about it. She might be a priss from Bostonia, but not even Danny could make her lose this game. At least he hadn't disappointed her with some lame dare.
But burping? It was the one thing Emma detested most, second only to gaseous emissions of the basement. Still, the attic left a nasty aftertaste which almost made it equal to the other. Emma wasn't even sure if she could burp, let alone burp her name. Still, a dare was a dare.
Standing up, Emma held up a finger, telling him to wait while she prepared her diaphragm for this new challenge. She wasn't even sure if she could burp convincingly, but Danny would have to make do with what he got. Besides, it was a three-point dare; she was doing enough as it was.
Emma almost went crosseyed as she attempted to belch out a letter, straining her throat to burp out a deep "E." Extending one arm, then the other palm down, Emma turned them facing up as her stomach quivered to pull out the next letter. "M" she belched out, feeling like a frog as she crossed her arms to touch her elbows. With the shape of the "m" still on her lips, Emma crossed her hands to place one on each hip, lightly touching her pants with her fingers as she went deep within herself for the final letter. "A" she belched out, attempting to make up in quantity for the rest but failing miserably as her arms uncrossed to set her hands on her hips. "There," she spat out, giving him a dirty look.
Sitting back down quickly, Emma prayed there hadn't been an audience, at least not of anyone she would have minded seeing her. There were quite of few whom she might blush to see in the halls afterwards, but none of them appeared to be around, thankfully. Not forgetting the rest of the dare, Emma cleared her throat before Danny could think of reminding her. Oh, she knew the rules well. Emma had practically written them, at least for that little game.
Adopting a fake British accent, Emma sang, no louder than she would speak. While she would have loved to rub it in Danny's face that his dare was no match for her, Emma wasn't about to broadcast her behavior to the world. It was a good song, too, and now she'd have an unusual memory to attach to it forever. "Hey thair! Georgie girl. Swingin' daown the street soh fancy free, nobody you meet could ever see the loneliness thair inside yaou."
"There, dare completed," she proclaimed, giving him a smug little smile. He had no idea who he was dealing with. It would take a lot more to make Emma back down from a dare, although she wasn't quite sure if she could have taken a stick up the nose. That was Danny's arena, and one she would stay out of. "Your turn again," she teased, with an evil grin. Oh, she would get him for that last dare, too. "Truth?" she mentioned quite nonchalantly,"...or DARE." Crossing her arms, Emma only gave him a look that could quite easily intimidate a competitor on the pitch. As much as it might seem otherwise, there was a competitive streak in Emma that was best to watch out for.

Danny loved Emma's competitive streak for one reason. It was extremely entertaining to watch. When Emma had completed her dare Danny smiled. He loved to hear Georgie Girl sung in a British accent. Although hers wasn't as fluent as if would be with a real Brit singing it, the song still sounded great.
"Your turn again,"
Danny thought for a moment. The right decision was very important. If he chose dare again them he knew Emma would have her way with him, but if he chose truth... then what would she be abel to get out of him? It was either choose dare and get humiliated, or choose truth and not get as humiliated as he would if he chose dare. Truth seemed to be the better option.
"I choose... truth." Danny said with a nod. "I think I'll give my poor nose a rest for the time being." He added with a grin. "Well, Vale. Let me have it."
((Sorry, I know it's not too good, but it was the best I could come up with. Again, sorry that it took so long to post this too.... ^^))
