Name: Fiona Agatha Roseburn
Age: 56
Gender: Female
Birthday/Sign: July 23 1943/Leo
Blood Type/Purity: A+/Pure
Appearance:
Personality: Fiona is a happy and jolly woman who is easy to become friends with. Though she may curse you behind your backs. She is not two faced, it's just that a woman of her personality doesn't like people who get on her nerves. What harm is it to turn a student into a frog for shouting in her library then handing the frog over to the alchemy teacher for limb removal. She wouldn't go that far though. Over all, Fiona is a good friend but just don't cross her.
History: Fiona was born in a village close by to Salem's Peak. Her parents and great aunt Sylvia much loved her. As did her five-year-old sister Catherine. Her great aunt was like her third parent. Her family was a gypsy family but her father was more of a modern man and wanted to move away and leave the village before Fiona began following in her great aunt's foot steps and become a wielder of curses. But her great aunt would hear nothing of it and wouldn't let them leave the gypsy village.
One night her parents tried to leave the place with their daughters only to be stopped by Sylvia. Sylvia set a curse on the couple. If they were to pass the crossover of the village gates they would fall to the floor and die.
Her father didn't believe in these curses and tried to escape once more even though his wife warned him. He was to go first to prove that it wouldn't kill him and then Fiona's mother was to follow carrying Fiona and Catherine. Fiona's father passed the gate and looked back and smiled at his wife. Nothing happened. But then suddenly his smile faded and a he screamed. He held his heart and fell to the floor. Fiona's mother in her stupidity dropped the children and ran to her husbands aid only to be killed herself. Then after they were both dead Sylvia emerged from the shadows and picked the two children up and went back to the cottage.
Sylvia raced the two herself. Catherine never liked Sylvia as she remembered what happened. She often tried to tell Fiona what happened but Sylvia stopped her by setting the Imperious Curse on her. But one night Catherine did get round to telling her. But Fiona did not believe her. One day Fiona told Sylvia what Catherine said and Sylvia became extremely angry. In her rage she sent Catherine out of the house and out of the village. Catherine traveled to Salem's Peak where she was raced by the Woodbark family. Her name was changed to Catherine Woodbark.
Fiona was taught by her great aunt for the first year and then she was taught in the local school at the village. It was so poor and filthy that in her final term Sylvia pulled her out and taught her once again herself.
When Fiona received a letter from Salem asking her to attend Sylvia burnt the letter and burnt the 16 more that came again. Eventually a representative of the President came and forced Sylvia into letting her go. The Ministry member was carrying an amulet which stopped any spells that Sylvia would have casted to not work. Sylvia let her go on one condition that she wouldn't come anywhere near Catherine. They accepted. Before she left for school Sylvia gave her the Evil Eye necklace to wear always. In gypsy legend it protects all gypsy's.
In her Sophomore year there was a slip up. Her Practical Magical teacher was ill so she had to be taught by a Senior Hall Monitor. It was her sister. Since then they always stayed in touch.
When Catherine was in her twenties she was a licensed wizarding lawyer and accused her great aunt of casting a unforgivable curse. When on trial Sylvia was so angry that she made a swarm of bats appear in the room and attack the judge and Catherine the prosecutor and tried to escape. After seeing the bats the judge immediately made them disappear and had Sylvia caught before she could even get through the doors and sentenced her for unforgivable curse casting and attacking a official officer.
When Fiona finished school she still wanted to become a gypsy even though her great aunt killed her parents. This is when she discovered her seeing ability and used it to her advantage. She worked on the streets as a fortune teller and still does to this day.
She then applied for the position of Librarian at the Institute. Many of the teachers liked her and so did the Dean.(Gabrielle do you mind?) And was accepted with open arms.
She also took an interest in gardening and often strolls down to the school's gardens to help out and often explores in the prescience classroom.

It was a dull day and Fiona was angry as she planned to do a spot of gardening today. She sat back in her seat and looked outside. She frowned.
"What's the point of doing gardening if it isn't sunny!?" she shouted annoyed. She heard a few 'shh' es. She had completely forgotten she was in the Library.
"Oh, sorry." she turned round to say to the annoyed readers. She stood to her feet and began to pace. It was a while since she had received a letter from her sister. Yes, a letter. Catherine didn't like to send owls. She liked sending a letter by post. Even though Catherine was a wizarding lawyer she tried to take as much magic out of her life as possible.
